Migra & Co has acted successfully in many appeal cases on behalf of applicants who have had their applications for leave to remain or entry clearance refused by the UK Border Agency (UKBA) or an Embassy.  A refusal may occur for a number of different reasons, more often than not it may be due to a  simple mistake in completing the form or failure in providing the UKBA officials with the correct or adequate documentation in support of an application. In other cases, however,  a refusal may result from the applicant's inability to show compliance with the immigration requirement or in more serious cases due to the alleged use of forged documents.

An applicant's right of appeal depends on the specific immigration category and personal  circumstances, in particular whether he/she has still leave to remain or made an in-time application. If you have the right of appeal, this will be stated in your written notice of refusal together with the reasons for  the refusal. Most visa categories, however, do carry a right of appeal under the Immigration Rules and an European  Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR).

We wish to stress that on all circumstances it's key to act fast and seek immediate immigration advice as soon as you are notify of a refusal as there are very strict deadlines to lodge an in country and out of country appeal. It is also important that any appeal is carefully prepared and we have a team of immigration consultants and barristers fully qualified to assist you with a visa refusal appeal.
