UK Visas: applications from overseas

From 30 January 2012 the online payments for all types of the UK visas in Turkey, Jordan and Georgia will have to be made in USD.
On 16 January 2012 British Embassies in Thailand and Ukraine introduced Premium Processing Service . Please note that not all types of applications will be eligible for the premium service. The service will attract a fee in addition to the usual entry clearance visa processing fee. The premium processing in Thailand currently takes 3 working days.
The UKBA confirmed that on 3 February 2012 the Visa Applications Centres in Cambodia, Burma, Thailand and South Korea will be closed. We suggest that applications make necessary arrangements to avoid disappointments.
