Deal or no deal?

16 August 2018

Brexit has brought controversy to every aspect of the British landscape. This means that with or without a "deal", the outcome of the referendum will have a major impact on UK immigration, since freedom of movement,  at least as we know it, will come to an end.
Migra & Co is fully aware of the possible future challenges to be faced by prospective migrants and will continue to assist its clients by ensuring that the relocation process for EEA and non-EEA migrants is as smooth as possible.
On the 29th of March, the UK will officially leave the EU. However, there is likely going to be a two-years transitional period during which EEA nationals will continue to be able to submit their applications for permanent or temporary status under the current regulations.
For more information on this topic, please refer to a previous article on our website which contains a detailed summary of the transitional period or feel free to contact one of our immigration consultants.
We understand that many European Citizens feel uneasy about the future, and  it is also the case that many UK employers, who have been relying  on EEA workers face great uncertainty. For instance, the negative impact is evident in a survey, in which 2000 employers stated that they find it harder to hire employees.
At Migra & Co, we can advise and guide you so that you are prepared to meet the challenges head-on. So, if you are planning to relocate to the UK and you have questions, please don’t be afraid of contacting us and we will make it our priority to help and answer your questions.
