Processing times for Tier 1 G applications and interim cap
During the week commencing 18 October 2010, the UK Border Agency will be considering applications that were received on or before 28 September 2010. This timescale is only a guideline, and some cases may take longer to consider.
In terms of entry clearance applications, we have been informed that the Tier 1 (General) threshold for October 2010 has now been reached and no further visas will be issued by British Diplomatic Posts (Embassies and Consular Visa Sections) until 1 November 2010. Applicants are still able to submit applications, however their visa will not be issued until 1 November 2010 and applications will be dealt on a first come, first serve basis.
