Tier 2 Work Permit: update on changes to the Sponsorship Management System
From 1 October the UK Border Agency will no longer accept cheque payments for Certificates of Sponsorship (COS), Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) and sponsor applications.
Furthermore, all applications for restricted Certificates of Sponsorship CoS under the Tier 2 General category will have to be now made via the SMS, instead of the online application form currently in use. The UKBA also introduced new processes for reporting changes on key personnel and organisational changes via SMS.
In addition, Tier 4 Highly Trusted Sponsor (HTS) status will be displayed in the Sponsor Summary screen in SMS.
