ACCA professional qualifications are recognised by NARIC as equivalent to either a Bachelor or a Master's degree. They are also awarded points (30 or 35 depending on the level) on the UKBA Points Based Calculator.

The Tier 1 PSW guidance states at paragraph 59, page 13: Qualifications that are NOT acceptable

- professional and vocational qualifications

We have now obtained a clarification from the UKBA that individuals with ACCA qualifications CANNOT submit an application under the Tier 1 Post Study Work Scheme since these are considered professional qualifications.
