Entry Clearance Application forms and procedures
Most entry clearance applications will need to be submitted online by clicking on the following link www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/ApplyNow.aspx, however there is still an option to complete the printed version.
Application forms can be found on www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/vafs/ and they are commonly refer to as VAF. Applicants would need to choose the correct VAF according to the purpose of their visa category, for instance VAF4A for settlement but VAF2 for ancestry. Points based forms will also need to be accompanied by their specific appendix. Finally, please note that the entry clearance fees have increased as of 6 April 2010.
