New Immigration and Nationality fees will take effect on 18 March 2016

On 29 February 2016 the UKVI announced new Immigration and Nationality fees, which will be applicable to the applications submitted on or after 18 March 2016.

The main changes will include:

· 25% increase in fees for settlement, residence and nationality, as these routes deliver the most benefits to successful applicants;
· Rise in fees for the same day processing service (applications made in the UK) from the current £400 to £500;
· An increase in fees of up to 33% for super premium and priority visa services for applications made overseas;
· Small increases of 2% in fees for visit, study and work visas, which are linked most closely to the UK economic growth.

Fees for obtaining a sponsorship license in the UK will be held at the current rates.

We would strongly recommend to the applicants, who can meet the current immigration requirements, to submit their applications before 18 March 2016 to avoid an additional cost.
