New Life in the UK test introduced today!

From today (25 March 2013) if you are taking the Life in the UK test you will have to answer questions based on the new handbook ‘Life in the UK – A Guide for New Residents’, which was published on 28 January 2013.

The new test will include questions on all sections of the new handbook, meaning that you will be tested on your knowledge of history and the law.

The Life in the UK test lasts for 45 minutes; it is computer based comprising of 24 questions. You will need to get a minimum of 18 correct answers to pass.

The test is administered by learndirect on behalf of the UK Border Agency.
