UKVI takes further steps to improve the customer service

Some of the applications related to the permanent residence in the United Kingdom must be submitted via the post to the UK Visas and Immigration without the possibility to apply through the PEO – the same day service appointment. This includes residence permit and settlement applications under the EEA 2006 regulations and applications for naturalisation as a British citizen.

Therefore, from 2 June 2014, applicants who submit their application via the post in the categories above will be able to receive status updates about the progress of their applications by email. This measure was introduced as a response to customers’ feedback complaining that applications have often to wait months before the decision is made without any possibility to enquire about their situation.

If you have any questions related to the visa application process inside or outside of the United Kingdom, please contact us on 0044 20 3384 3075 or via email : [email protected].
