This means that migrants who had an existing appointment, prior to the suspension of the service will be able to provide their biometric data (fingerprints and photo) and submit their supporting documents. Migrants will be contacted and told what to do next.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have not made an appointment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You cannot currently book an appointment at a UKVCAS service point due of coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are applying to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You must upload your supporting documents when you apply. You will not be able to scan them at your UKVCAS appointment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Service point locations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following service points will re-open as of 1 June 2020:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Birmingham<\/li>\n<li>Birmingham Premium Lounge<\/li>\n<li>Chelmsford<\/li>\n<li>Croydon<\/li>\n<li>Exeter<\/li>\n<li>Leeds<\/li>\n<li>London Mark Lane Premium Lounge<\/li>\n<li>London Victoria<\/li>\n<li>Manchester Fountain Street Enhanced Service Point<\/li>\n<li>Manchester Premium Lounge<\/li>\n<li>Sheffield<\/li>\n<li>Southampton<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For opening hours, please refer to the official website: <a href=\"https:\/\/s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com\/soprasteria-ukvi-prd-ukvcas\/OpeningHours.pdf\">https:\/\/s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com\/soprasteria-ukvi-prd-ukvcas\/OpeningHours.pdf<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You may be offered an appointment at another service point, if the closest one to you us closed.<\/p>\n<p>If you cannot, or do not wish to attend this appointment, you can put in a request to wait for an appointment to be available at a closer service point to you. This will not affect your immigration status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How much does it cost?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It costs \u00a319.20 to provide your biometric information, if you are applying to extend your visa or switch to another visa whist already in the UK. The fee is paid together with the UKVI fees, when submitting.<\/p>\n<p>You may also need to pay an appointment booking fee, this depends on the service point you select. There are 6 free \u2018core\u2019 service points and 50 \u2018enhanced\u2019 service points.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the service point, you may also select:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Out of hours or weekend appointments;<\/li>\n<li>Extra services, for example document translation or an interpreter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do you need to bring to your appointment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will need to bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appointment confirmation email (either a print-out or a copy on your phone or tablet);<\/li>\n<li>Passport or travel document;<\/li>\n<li>Other supporting documents (unless you have already uploaded them online).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your application includes family members, you must all attend an appointment together.<\/p>\n<p>Children under the age of 16 must attend their appointment with the \u2018responsible adult\u2019 listed on their submitted application form.<\/p>\n<p>The responsible adult must bring valid ID, such as their passport, photo driving license, national identity card or their UK Biometric Residence Permit.<\/p>\n<p>If the responsible adult is not the parent or legal guardian (for example they are a member of staff from the child\u2019s school) they must also provide written proof of responsibility for the child from the parent or legal guardian, or a registered foster carer or social services representative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact Our Immigration Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For expert advice regarding UK immigration, please contact our immigration team on 0203 384 3075.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 26 May 2020, the Home Office announced that some UK Visa and Citizenship Application Centres (UKVCAS) will reopen for existing clients on 1 June 2020.
