{"id":4440,"date":"2021-06-11T10:56:53","date_gmt":"2021-06-11T09:56:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.migraco.com\/en\/?p=4440"},"modified":"2021-06-11T11:19:25","modified_gmt":"2021-06-11T10:19:25","slug":"how-to-make-a-complaint-to-the-home-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.migraco.com\/en\/how-to-make-a-complaint-to-the-home-office\/","title":{"rendered":"How to make a complaint to the Home Office?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Individuals can make a complaint to the Home Office using the online complaints form <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/complain-uk-visas-immigration\">link<\/a> or send <a href=\"mailto:complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk\">email<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Migrants will need to provide the information below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contact details, for instance, their address and phone number;<\/li>\n<li>The names of the applicant\/original complainant if they are completing this on behalf of someone else \u2013 they must provide with written authority to disclose information about another person\u2019s case;<\/li>\n<li>Full details of the matter they\u2019re complaining about, including times, dates and locations;<\/li>\n<li>The names or identifying numbers of any staff they\u2019ve dealt with;<\/li>\n<li>Details of any witnesses to the incident, if appropriate;<\/li>\n<li>Copies of the relevant letters or papers;<\/li>\n<li>Details of any reimbursement issues including papers and receipts to support their claim;<\/li>\n<li>The Home Office reference details, for instance, refund reference, appeal reference or UAN (unique application number);<\/li>\n<li>If the complaint is in relation to the Home Office contact centre, they will need to know the date they called, the number they dialled and the number they called the Home Office from.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Home Office states that they will reply within 20 working days.
