{"id":4680,"date":"2022-01-27T13:09:57","date_gmt":"2022-01-27T13:09:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.migraco.com\/en\/?p=4680"},"modified":"2022-02-11T10:03:56","modified_gmt":"2022-02-11T10:03:56","slug":"a-brief-guide-of-the-new-scale-up-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.migraco.com\/en\/a-brief-guide-of-the-new-scale-up-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"Scale-up scheme: what to expect?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The UK Government is planning to introduce a new immigration visa category in spring 2022, which is currently known as the \u201cScale-up visa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In order to meet the requirement of the Scale-up scheme, migrants will need to receive a \u2018highly skill\u2019 job offer from a UK eligible business, with a minimum gross salary in the amount of \u00a333,000 and will also need to satisfy the English language proficiency requirement set at B1.<\/p>\n<p>The sponsoring business must demonstrate that it is a high growth business by meeting the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An annual average revenue or employment growth rate over a 3-year period greater than 20%; and<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 10 employees at the start of this three-year period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Scale-up visa might be preferable to the Skilled Worker route as it is likely that the sponsoring company will not need to apply for a licence and thus, have to comply with the associated responsibility &amp; duties.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Scale-up visa will also allow migrants to easily change jobs\/employers, and is expected to permit individuals to potentially qualify for settlement in the UK in three years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact Our Immigration Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For expert advice regarding any aspect of the UK visa application, please contact our immigration team on 0203 384 3075.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UK Government is planning to introduce a new immigration visa category in spring 2022, which is currently known as the \u201cScale-up visa\u201d.
